Narada Bhakti Sutras - Day 6

Awakening the Divinity Within

  • Divine should be allowed to permeate in all activities.
  • God is there in everyone but He is sleeping so first man awakes (from inertia, dullness) and then he awakens the divinity within himself. And those who have awaken the divinity within and on whose call God wakes up are known as saints; and we all are saint.
  • When someone reaches the heart, all complains disappear. One of thousands reach there and by the time they reach there, complains no more exist.
  • Enlightenment is awakening the divinity within you.
  • You need company of enlighten and tiny grace of God…to experience the divine; to feel like a child you will have to be with a child; to be happy you have to be in the company of one who is happy. You be with enlighten or a saint and you start behaving like him.
  • Most important for this is the company of enlighten. The company of one who is free, will bring freedom to you. The company of one who is in divine love will make you shine in that love.
  • 'Mahat' is that fields which exists beyond ego so the one who reels in that 'Mahat' is Mahatma.
  • It is very difficult to get the company of saints; you can not understand the whole mechanism, it is simply fantastic; it can not be described in the words; it can not be captivated in words.
  • A good horse runs by the shadow of whip.
  • A sensitive person can feel the presence of divine. And that sensitivity also comes only with grace. You can not do anything for getting this. But once that is obtained, you got it all.
  • The ways of saints are very different. Mind can not comprehend the ways of consciousness.
  • Intuition is beyond mind. Saints work with intuition and not with logic or reasons that's why it is difficult to work with saints…:)
  • The company of wise, of the one who is free - is incomprehensible, is beyond understanding. And that also can be obtained only by their grace; not by any act of yours. It is the choice of divine to grant that to you. Don't demand that. You can not demand that.
  • Ways are divine are unfathomable.
  • If you are soaked in worries, you look like a bundle of worries.
  • When you are soaked in that divinity, that serenity; there is no difference, no gap  between HE and you. There is no difference there. You are part of same divinity then. Only that is worth attaining in life.
  • Don't miss any opportunity to sit in satsang, to be in good company.
  • Even those few moments that you spent that way; the memory of those can take you across the ocean of misery.
